My grandson (8 years old)and I checked into Room 113 on October 1, 2011, around 7:00 pm and checked out October 2, 2011 at 9:00 am. We live in separate states and were visiting family for the weekend. We were together less than 24 hours. Both my grandson and I suffered bed bug bites. We went to separate doctors and both were diagnosed with bed bug bites. Contacted the motel and Best Western corporate office to no avail. They were both "sorry" but stated no bed bugs were found in room. My grandson and I were the only ones out of 13 family members with bites and the only thing we had in common was the motel room. Corporate office suggested I get a lawyer if I wanted reimbursement for medical bills or any other expenses (discarded clothes, etc.). I called the motel and corporate office several times and they assured me they would call or e-mail me within a week. I had to initiate any contact. No customer service and they did not seem concerned about lack of service. Will never stay at Best Western again due to no customer service as well as the bed bugs.
